Our Eco-Friendly Prints Helped Win the Fashion Challenge!
We’re thrilled to share that Friedmans had a starring role on the latest fashion-focused episode of BBC’s The Apprentice and even more exciting? Our prints helped the winning team clinch the top spot!
A Challenge with Purpose
This episode tasked the teams with designing a new recycled women’s sportswear line, focusing on fashion-forward looks made with sustainability in mind. Cue our innovative eco-conscious fabric, crafted from regenerated polyester thread from pre- and post-consumer waste, taking centre stage. The team used our Ariel Blue print to create striking activewear that not only looked amazing on the runway, but also stayed true to the message: Feel fantastic, while wearing recycled.
Fashion That Feels Good
The final design featured a bold, scale-inspired print made using our recycled life base — a fabric that’s soft, breathable, and durable. A perfect fit for conscious consumers who care about both style and the planet. Our mission has always been to fuse quality and creativity with sustainability — and seeing our fabrics brought to life on national TV was a proud moment for the entire team.
